Shatner as Captain Kirk. Still one of the best sculpts of the man ever made, and there have been TONS. I don't think anyone has actually surpassed it. It captures his confident bravado and sense of humor like none other.
Kind of out of left field but, I think Mego did a nice job on Grandpa Walton (Will Geer) actually they did a nice job with (Ralph Waite) and (Richard Thomas) as well, Pa and John Boy, but not so much with the females of the line.

I thought Grandma Walton was pretty good, and to a lesser extent, Ma Walton was too. Mary Ellen Walton, while not a bad looking figure has the least resemblance to the actress who portrayed her (IMO).
David Naughton was good too as the other astronaut. His nephew went onto fame in the 80s first as the lead singer and dancer of the Be a Pepper commercials and then as the American Werewolf in London.

James Naughton was the POA astronaut. David was the American Werewolf. They were brothers.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
The Mego likenesses weren't really dead on to the actor's/character's faces, but they did usually manage to capture the recognizable essence. Best examples are Kirk (a mix of animated and Shatner, but very much capturing the feel of the captain with that expression) and Cornelius from POA (again, not a dead-on representation of the ape makeup, but that bemused expression just nailed the attitude of the character so perfectly).
