Space 1999 10" figures?

I ust got in an ebay win of Space 1999 figures that look like Commander Koenig and Prof. Berg but they are about 10" tall. where are these from? i thought all the figures old and new were 8" tall. please help.

But those are 9", not 10"

I think the bodies are recycled Sunshine Family doll bodies, which is why they suck.

Me too, I have a wax sculpt that suggested Mattel was originally going to go 12" with the figures, I wish they had, the detail on this head is amazing:

Yes it was and thanks everyone. i only measured it at first be setting them next to Pa Walton so i looked like almost 2" different. i checked and they are 9"
i was hoping they would be the same size as the CTVT figures to put with them. oh well.

all this talk about the infamous 1977 Mattel 9 inch line made me bid on a commander Koenig MOC I won it for 20.50 plus shipping not bad
