"Apes Month" reminds me of "Apes Week" on the afternoon movies back in the day. I remember the Chimp host segments that lead in and out of commercials. Can't remember if it was Roddy, or what character it was supposed to be, but I remember those bumpers. Too bad those weren't included on the DVD's as bonus features.

Thats great news, cant wait!!! And yes i'm originally from NY, the 4:30 movvie was great. Ape week always ruled!!
I just wish they would have given us a finale to the Apes tv series.
