Mego Dreams

Well last night, I actually had a dream about Megos. In it I was visiting a local Goodwill store where I stumbled on this one shelf that had 6 or 7 good quality Mego action figures. At least one was an Action Jackson, but others were TV / movie figures (although in typical dream fashion, I don't remember which they were). They were each only one or two dollars apiece, so of course I bought all of them.

Oh and as i was walking out the door, I saw a 12" MIKE POWER: ATOMIC MAN figure....which I did not buy.

Am I weird? Anyone else ever have a Mego dream?

I dream about MEGOs all the time. Hopefully one of these days it'll come true

that is hilarious, I always wondered if I was the only one who has mego dreams. Mine usually entail walking down an empty street only to find boxes along the side of someone's driveway put out for the trash that have Mego gold in them.

Strangely enough, my mego dreams usually happen right before I wake up in the morning, thus making the cold harsh reality that my dreamy, free Mego acquisitions were only a dream all the more painful.

Oh the disappointment.

I guess I am greedy, because mine always have me finding 3-5 unopened cases of carded WGSH, with GA's, Iron man's, Falcon's, Goblin's a plenty

Of course I would share some...

Mine are always finding mint figures in garage sales/ estate sales in the bottom of a toy box. Usually ahi and tomland monsters, I guess cause I like them the most.

Man i haven't had a mego dream in a while , I miss those, although the dream i had with Mariah Carrey last night made up for it

I just had a dream a few nights ago after visiting this site for the first time in a while! I read the thread about the World's Greatest Superheroes and I stayed up real late and drank too much pop. Then I dreamed I was in a comic book store and there was a whole wall of mint gleaming action figures, superheroes and TV characters all Mego sized with clothing, but lots of detail. I was trying to decide whether to buy Silk Spectre, White Queen or Bionic Woman and then I woke up. Then I was kind of bummed because the figures in my dream were really high quality but they don't exist so I can't really get one. The next day I went to the local comic shop and I grabbed up Mego repro Kirk, Spock and Andorian (was only $10 for Andorian!). Had to grab them before the new movie comes out on DVD and everyone buys everything in sight right before X-Mas. I used to have those ones back in the 70s, I think. It's hard to remember exactly which ones I had! This is my first post, ^_^

I just had a weird dream yesterday where I came across the first Joker issued and apparently Mego didn't have time to cast the head so Joker's head was sewn white nylon with the face screened on. Everyone in the dream was like "You've found the rare screened Joker head!" lol
