    Mego Mention on Topless Robot

Not sure how popular the Topless Robot website is... but I find it entertaining to my inner geek. Anyhow, they had a nice inclusion of Mego in today's list, The 10 Most Tragically Unreleased Action Figure Lines:

I might have actually bought the Sesame Street stuff. I liked the Muppets figures but never pulled the trigger. Glad the GAH was mentioned. Sad for sure.

          Oh,

Those Palisades SS were so beautiful. I recall a proto of the playset going by on auction a while back. I am not much into one shots and all, but that one would have been mighty fine.

I remember reading something in ToyFare about it..., when the Hasbro 1 came out a few yrs back..., probably the most Wanted Transformer ever.

I've been working at TR since the first few weeks, it's getting crazy popular, that's entirely due to the efforts of Rob, he's a freaking workhorse.

That reminds me, I'm behind on two pieces.

You posted before I could make a winking, smart-*****, but loving and supportive, subtle allusion your association with TR. Now I can only say how much I love the site and how I was introduced to it through your articles. You know how hard it is to be straight-forwardly nice without some dollop of sarcasm to cover any fear of being less than manly? DO YOU?

I just picked up a loose one at a yard sale about 85% complete for a buck. Just for display. Really is a cool figure. It is pretty big though.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.
