Mego of the Day are these fun little guys from the Mego Star Trek "Mission to Gamma VI" Playset. They're just so adorable and not all something you ever saw on the series, maybe on the cartoon....

They remind me of the Arco Other World line of little bendy figures that came later.

Mission to Gamma VI is the only MEGO STAR TREK item for the 8 inch figures i don't have in my collection , maybe someday i'll track one down for my collection

It is a pretty cool playset and based on an actual Star Trek episode (The Apple), just not sure what those little colorful aliens are supposed to do. And yeah, some do look like Andorians.
It would be cool to find a complete, working Gamma VI playset, but I'm not holding my breath

The aliens have little pegs in their hands so you can have them climb the playset, they also can be connected to one another to form a chain. Mission to Gamma 6 is one of my favourite mego pieces because it throws "Show accuracy" out the window and just makes a fun toy.

Had it as a kid, the aliens actually "scared" me a little bit. They look very angry. This was one item that I nor my mom kept when I moved out all those years ago. whoops.
