Photos of Mego Sci-Fi toys wanted for magazine article

    Hi there

I'm currently writing an article about classic 70s and 80s licensed Sci-Fi toys for the next issue of Retro Fusion, a UK 'retro lifestyle' magazine (more info at Retro Fusion)

I'm looking to source some high-quality photos of examples from several Mego lines, notably:

    Planet of the Apes
The Black Hole (the 3 3/4" range)
    Dr Who
    Space 1999
Star Trek (70's range and the 3 3/4" Motion Picture range)

So if anyone has some nice pics that they'd like to have published alongside my article, please let me know via PM or replying to this thread. I'm only a contributor to the mag and it is a non-profit venture so I cannot offer any financial incentive, but you would obviously get credit for any pics used and I could also include a link to any website you wish to promote.

    Thanks in anticipation!

I have litterally hundreds of high res pics I took of my Mego Star Trek collection for a book and magazine and for a new upcoming publication as well. Let me know what images you are looking for and I can probably hitch you up with what you need.

Capt. Kirk: "Is there anyone on this ship, who even remotely, looks like Satan?"
Mr. Spock: "I am not aware of anyone who fits that description, Captain"
Capt. Kirk: "No, Mr. Spock, I didn't think you would be"

Thanks to those that have contacted me so far. I should probably be sorted for most of the lines mentioned above now, but I supopose its worth mentioning that I'm also looking for nice photos of the following non-Mego ranges if anyone has them:

        Battlestar Galactica (Mattel)
        Dr Who (Dapol 80's range)
        Space 1999 (Mattel)
        Aliens (Kenner early 90's range)
        Star Trek (90's Playmates range)
Diecast toys (e.g. Star Trek, Buck Rogers, Space 1999)
        Dune
        Terrahawks
        Tron

        Thanks again!

I don't know if they are high-res enough for you, but you can yank stuff off my blog if you want:
