    Mego Clearance in 1983

A President's day sale after Mego's demise shows clearance pricing on everything, including the World's Greatest Superheroes! Sure, the ad shows Batman but I bet it was mostly Hulks.....

Yeah, probably Hulks and Pin Pin FF, but that's still a hell of a deal.
Hmmm, didn't know that Mego made play cosmetics.

              It's a shame I didn't start going to Kiddie City until '84.

Kiddie Cities are where I found lots of French Fantastic Fours (except for The Thing, which there was little of) and Spider-mans in the mid eighties. I think there were also a few Hulks as well.

Just like the sign read if we only knew then what we know now. It would have been the best darn $2.00 an hour anyone ever worked for.

Unfortunately for me the only clearance Mego's I ever got to buy was what I have found other people selling. Which is usually 100X's that sale price (or more) now.

I'm hoping someone saw that sale and bought a bunch. Then held onto them for years. Then sells them at a garage sale with me being present. While were negotiating. There like yeah I bought these for like 2 bucks. So I'll sell them to your for a dollar. Now that would be Cool LOL. I can dream can't I.

I can't remeber seeing any Mego WGSH's on the shelf at all by 1983.

not really the dukes and chips figure on c9 cards are less then $50 each
eagle force $8-$20 i think the ninja is the rarest
the superheroes left at that time were probably spidey, hulk, superman, batman, robin and the fantastic four and maybe a capt in there. batman and superman moc might cost over $200 now but the rest won't. still i wouldn't mind going back in time and getting them for that price
