How are you doing on your New Years Mego resolutions?

Earlier this year we had a thread about Mego resolutions for this year. Just wondering how everyone is doing with them. Or did you forget about them on January 2nd?

My resolution was to fill in my loose collection......so far I have gotten Iron Man, Falcon, Goblin, Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Batcycle, Bat Copter, T1 Robin...a new and better Green Arrow.

Also, Neptunian, Gorn (orignal) and of course all of the EMCE line.

I also customized my own Green Lantern and Flash

MEGO: Resolutions 2009 - Mego Talk

I'm Aiming for a Very MEGOrific Year as Always.

My New Years resolution is as Follows:

1. My Main Collection Priority is to Maintain focus on The WGSH Line. I've been Slacking and getting off Subject so I'm planning on Focusing More on my All Time favorite Toy Line.

2. Work on getting More POTA. I just started Collecting this Line and I'm pretty happy with what I have Now but Theres always room for More.

3. Look for Great Bargains on other Lines that I'm interested in such as 3 3/4 Buck Rogers and 12" Wonder Woman.

4. Finish my Star Trek Aliens line. I Just need that MOC Romulan. Finish my WGSK with a MIB Galahad.

5. Take it Slow. Theres no Need to Rush, It will come in time. Remember it's a hobby, so have fun with it.

I've accomplished my POTA goal and I'm doing great on my WGSH Goal. I've also been doing good at getting bargains. So for the most part, I'm Really Happy with all that I've accomplished so far this year

I'd have to say I exceeded it since my only criteria was "to resume Mego buying".
With five new additiions to my boxed collection, an all-original RC bats and a new carded addition coming soon I'd say "resume" is puting it mildly!

Finished The Mego Banks And Bendys So Far.

In 2009 I hope I will be...
1. Adding a few more villains to my custom Batman 1966 set.
2. Adding a few more monsters to my movie monsters set.
3. Scoring a Basa Batman and Robin.
4. Finding a few more Ledy's.
5. Starting a Lincoln monster collection (those are hard to find and expensive ).
6. Finishing my toy room
7. Finding a second and third job to pay for all of that

1. Done and will be adding even more soon
2. Not yet, but there's still time
3. Basa Batman: OK, Basa Robin: still hunting one down
4. Came very close, but got outbid
5. Got them all, except the Phantom, the search continues
6. Work has begun, should get real close to finishing by the end of the year
7. I managed to pay for all of the above with one job so far, so I'll hold off on finding that second and third job

Didn't do the New Year resolution thing, but i guarantee I will never have another one like 2009 and were only in August. My 2010 Resolution is already to curb my spending

not really resolutions, but a goal I had was to get a Riddler and an all original Robin, have procrastinated so far.

I had 3:

1. find a nice boxed Lizard (found)
2. find a nice boxed Type 1 spiderman (not found)
3. find Peter Parker's pants (found the whole Parker in minty shape!)

Quit smoking. Yep, not one smoke yet.

Reduce spending on collection: down to $50 per month. Not bad.

Speaking my mind instead of keeping quiet and getting ulcers: OK! (resulting in very few friends and relatives speaking to me, but hey, I also save a fortune on birthday cards as an added bonus)

Stop killing and burying annoying people in the yard.....
