    I scored a Palitoy Zorro!

I scored an authentic Palitoy Zorro on Ebay a couple of days ago!

The bidding started at 29.99, and in the end, I only ended up paying 59.99 plus shipping, handling, and insurance.

It comes complete with sword, hat, cape and box.

Once I get it I will check it over for cracks, flaws, and other types of stuff that comes with age.

Okay that's gotta be up there with that insane Alter Ego auction someone one years ago.

      Great grab!

Congrats Jaida! The one figure I have never acquired and wish I had.

Hate to be the barer of bad news...but if it's this auction, it states that it is a custom figure right in the listing:

Mego Zorro Action Figure / Palitoy Zorro Action Figure - eBay (item 140336139111 end time Aug-03-09 17:52:54 PDT)

Still not a bad price for a custom figure with a repro box.

AAAAAGGGGGHHHHH! I should have read it more carefully!

Still a great grab for that price, though.

            And he's mine....all mine!

            MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

                    More carefully?

Up for auction is another Boywonder0_2 custom figure: El Zorro, The Masked Swordsman. Mego’s Zorro is the only action figure ever licensed and produced based on the famous Walt Disney’s television show. Mego obtained the rights to produce a Zorro action figure when re-runs of the 1950’s Disney TV show became popular in England. As a consequence the figure was produced and distributed by Mego European subsidiary: Palitoy. Because of that, the Zorro figure was more commonly available overseas and very scarce and rare in the USA. It is considered by Mego collectors as a Holy Grail and fetches a lot of money within collectors. This is your chance to get one at an affordable price .

This custom figure even contains improvements over the original figure like: 1) Removable rubber gloves (the original had none), 2) Removable boots (the original had molded boots revealed by shorter pants), 3) Removable belt to carry his sword (the original had none) and 4) His removable hat remains on thanks to a padded interior and a holding cord (the original hat was always falling from head).

As an added BONUS, I am including a finely made Zorro repro box for your custom Mego Zorro figure.

P.S. Still a nice custom for the price...so you didn't really loose...
