First, thanks to the vast majority of you who took this seriously and gave some terrific input. I was very curious to see what modern Mego collecting was these days.

I've often wondered about other demogrphics of the members here- everything from average age to connsumer habits. We seem so diverse at times, but I have to imagine there are other correlations.

How many actually participated? (so we can really interpret those percentages... too few and you get what they call "sampling error")

It looks like the largest variety of answers were on the "least favorite feature" question. Maybe that should have been a multiple choice, if you were curious about specific areas??

It's also interesting for me that the 100% vintage crowd is actually only 17.74 % (of those that took the test) but only 4.84% say they don't collect newer figures at all.

I agree with Palitoy that it would be interesting to see results like these trended over time.. to see changes in the membership's preferences or collecting styles.

I felt kind of weird putting down a least favorite part. I put the Playhouse, just because I don't think I've EVER posted there. I have no problem with it. I just don't use it.

You could do a survey twice a year and it would be cool to compare and contrast.

As others have said, the results are interesting. I've been here since the beginning and can honestly say I can't think of a "least favorite part" about this place. I mean while I may not visit certain forums much others seem to be enjoying it. Good survey and thanks for sharing the results.

I must admit I had a slightly ulterior motive to doing this one, I'll reveal that when the time comes. A more detailed survey will follow in a while, I'll run that one for a week or so.
