Cool story indeed Dave. I'd buy that Dinah as well. At the comletetion of your project, present it to her. That way it seems less brown-nosy and more congratulatory.
I have some random toys in my cubicle. None of which I am really into. No Megos, Batmen or Supermen. I should remedy that.

Great story. I think buying the Dinah would be a nice gesture. Nice to hear such a postive reaction. I don't think I'd be so lucky where I work.Comment

Great story! I wouldn't think you were a brown-noser if you got her the Dinah. It's a great way to make a connection. When I was starting out looking for a full-time radio job, I grabbed two handfulls of chapstick that the station I was interning for was giving away. I sent it out with every resume. The guy that hired me for my first full-time job always remembered and never forgot that I sent him chapstick. It was a way to make a connection.Shameless self-promotion -

Whoa Dave! Very cool! I would have to get her one it if was me ya know? I would consider that token of asteem after being pretty skeptical about the project, a little perk for working with a cool fella as yourself!
It works, trust me,
Been there done that. I mean I did that a few times with stuff in my own collection that I just didn't want anymore and that would mean the world to them 'specially when they haven't had the best of days ya know?Last edited by The Sentry; Aug 17, '07, 3:32 PM.sigpic
