Well, the name is a work in progress, but the sentiment is obvious. I've been kicking this idea around with Azrak and was looking to see if there is any interest in a gathering here in Cincinnati for those in the area.

I'm not aware of everyone, but there are several I know in the general area like Louisville, COlumbus, Dayton, Indianapolis and Lexington. I was tentatively thinking September 19. The local Holiday Inn is a great, easy-access hotel. The small conference room for a Saturday is around 150 dollars depending on table set up. Anyone can buy/trade/sell or just hang.

This is a preliminary post to see how many might actually make the trip. If there's not much interest, then no big deal. I just thought since there is a cluster of MM peeps in the general area, we could get together.

Any ideas or thoughts would be welcome.

It's not a weekend of torture.

THe Reds would be much better, though they suck too.

However, everyone going out to eat on Friday or a movie or some other nonsense is totally open.

Hey i'm a diehard bengals fan and i was born and raised in Connecticut. I blame the show WKRP in Cincinnati. i loved it and that is the only thing i can think of that helped me become a fan. I also like the Patriots but Cinci is and will always be number 1. Fear the tiger this year. I can't believe i just typed that.

Bengals will be at Green Bay that weekend but the Reds will be in town (although probably 20 games back by then).

Ooooooooohhhhhhh. When we first started talking about this, I didn't even think of the Columbus Toy Show. That's where I'll be for a large chunk of the weekend between set-up and the show itself. Mego is hit-and-miss there.......it's usually me and my Beagos and some overpriced stuff from other dealers. It's a safe bet that there will be some EMCE stuff too.

Hey guys, try this idea...

The same toy show in Columbus is hitting Cincy here on November 1st. Maybe we could gather at the Holiday Inn, hang for the day and then head to the show on Sunday morning. It could work. Please give me some feedback.
