At a garage sale, I thought for a second I had a Bruce Wayne\RM Batman, but it was just a supes in a RM Bats outfit. Imagine my disappointment, bought it anyway for 75cents.

It bugs the hell out of me that people can't get Cornelius and Galen straight! What the hell man, one's from a movie, the other's from a TV show. I really don't see the problem. What? Are these people BLIND!?

People seem to confuse Shazam and Superman and mix up Burke and Verdon a lot. I've seen Starsky get listed as Burke and Hutch get listed as Verdon. People also seem to mix up the Duke boys with Starsky and Hutch or Burke and Verdon. I picked up my Mystery Astronaut as a POTA Astronaut. But all of those seem like pretty easy mistakes to make. I've also seen people mix up Batman and Captain America when they aren't in their costumes.

The funniest one though was a friend of mine thought that a Starsky and a Luke Duke that I had been working on for customs were Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons from later in their carriers and made a comment that it was strange that someone would choose THAT version of the band to make figures.
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

My all time best was in '99 winning what somebody said was a "Super Action Jackson" dressed in an all original minty early issue Superman outfit with large emblem, skinny boots, stirrups and all. No mention of Mego at all. That was a nice ol' "switcheroo" of the head figure. He even had the red head/ beard.

I got one of the gorilla generals listed as a Wolfman once. Also, I got an AA Dinah Mite listed as an incomplete Uhura. I recently bought 2 Rood Super Girls that were listed a Dinah Mites. They're kind of related and have similar outfits, but it does make a difference in price.

I've seen Bo Duke listed as Chuck Norris on eBay before.
Once at a flea market an old woman selling some old toys told me that she thought that the Penguin she had was from Alice in Wonderland.
