Here's a bit of fun. Imagine any Mego you wish (clothed or unclothed) and think who they could be mistaken for by a non collector.....

I'm going to start with Fonzie been taken for Elvis.

Also, any you have actually seen too. My Wolfman was listed as a Planet Of The Apes figure.

Saw a Dr Zaius as Chewbacca on ebay once.

A lot of people get their superheroes mixed too, lots of Shazam as Flash and I've seen lots of "Superman" when it's clearly Spider-Man.

I found a Romulan at an antique store marked "Mr. Spock in space suit", I guess because of the pointed ears (he didn't have his helmet but was complete otherwise).

The POTA Astronaut seems to be mis-labeled a lot as well.

I once won an Aquaman that was described as being The Green Hornet. That seller was really confused, I don't even know how he got that idea.

I see Shazams described as being the Flash all the time.

Not really the same thing, but I always get a kick seeing listings for a Mego Dr. Spock.

I once bought a Green Arrow listed as Robin Hood , and Black Knight Listed as Sheriff Of Nottingham.

Picked up a very nice Falcon a few years back listed as flame guy. Assumed it was a torch figure when I clicked on it but I guess the wings looked like fire to him. Got it for $4.99 plus shipping as the only bidder.
