Fx2010
I just checked the FX site just for kicks and they have listed May 21-23, 2010 as the dates for FX2010. Location: TBA. That is 2 weeks before Mego Meet 2010. It will be damned-near impossible for me to get days off in weeks that close together. Not to mention the money issues that causes with hotels and such. What are those idiots who are running that show thinking? The show was bad enough in April but now May? They couldn't move it back to January? This may break my streak of 16 FX's in a row. If I have to choose between FX and MegoMeet, well, there's really no contest.

Dates subject to change?
Write to them (in droves perhaps) expressing your concern. I wrote to the guy who does the Pittsburgh show (because I was on his mailing list due to 10 years attendance) and told him the new location just didn't work for me. I already hike up there and back, let alone adding more time to the trip in a remote location. Well, it's back in Monroeville this fall. And he did write back telling me he was working on that. I'm sure I wasn't alone. Anyway, it wouldn't hurt.Comment
