Farrah Fawcett and Charlie's Angels Dolls/Figures

I would really love to know if MEGO can Re-release the Farrah Fawcett doll or even make a NEW one? And It's about time someone made NEW Charlie's Angels dolls or figures, it's a classic show with tons of fans and we haven't had any new doll/figures since 1976-77!!! I hope MEGO can somehow get the licence to do this. Thank you for any help!

Sorry Farrah but mego doesn't exist any more. BTW welcome to the museum. I don't think another company would pick it up because there is no longer mass appeal in her products.

I agree,I don't think there's much of a market for this anymore. In fact the Farrah dolls were all collecting dust on ebay going for like $10-$20 until recently when her story about Cancer came up...and now people have jacked up the prices.

The only way i see them making another appearance is, if let's say...Barbie makes a tribute set or something

The primary focus of the new Mego will likely be action figure orientated, I would be surprised if there is a revival of their fashion doll brands anywhere.

Although, a retro Charlie's Angels line is honestly not a terrible idea.

It would be kind of cool to not only have the original Charlie's Angels figures released (ala EMCE), but to include Shelley Hack and Tanya Roberts as well. I would certainly have use for the Tanya Roberts one (Sheena!)


I'm honestly kind of curious, in whichever forums Charlie's Angels fans hang out in, do they endlessly debate the merits of the original TV show versus the new Movie incarnations? Particularly when it comes to casting new Angels? (ie Cameron Diaz vs Farrah)



I don't know why, but the idea of a parallel universe of Doll Collectors having similar discussions as we do around here just popped into my head in a most amusing way.

Threads comparing Sonny Mustache variations. Dream casting for the live action Barbie movie. Discussions around why they never made a Bosley figure (or did they?). etc.

Thanks guys Even if MEGO (or whatever the name of the company is now) won't do another "Farrah" doll they should still try to get the licence to do the Angels (Jill, Kelly and Subrina.) They would sell big time! And are LONG over due!

The company went out of business, so there's no one to get that license that you're talking about. It wasn't a simple matter of a name change. There is no MEGO company as of right now. You might be thinking of the EMCE guys who are making 8" cloth costumed figures that are done in the same style, and some of the same characters. I don't see original Charlie's Angels dolls selling, and the only way I see it happening is if Mattel put out their own line, the way they've done Marilyn Monroe dolls, etc.

Thank you Vulcan! I am starting to love this place! I guss I was misunderstanding, I thought MEGO was going to open back up or whatever That is too bad, I was looking fowared to some new MEGO Farrah and Wonder Woman dolls/Figures
