Anyone know anything about the person running this site? Seems they have some megos for sale (Palitoy ST Aliens) PLUS Mego Museum Cards! They have 5 complete sets of cards for sale (doesn't that ring a bell) along with serveral other single cards.

I've seen alot of these types of sites/links come up over the last year.

It's basically an eBay search displayed on a webpage.

The designer/owner of the site determines the search terms.

I've seen these types of sites mostly associated with sites that claim they can promote traffic to your auctions or site and increase your revenue.

I know I have several links somewhere in regards to this...but...

I can almost guarantee that anyone (especially any member) would NOT reveal their tried and true search terms for hidden auctions...so basically this is only as good as searching eBay directly.

Digging a little deeper reveals that the Site is registered to a Domain Proxy Company, so the owners info is not revealed through normal lookups, ...BUT...

The server that the site resides on host at least 100 other sites, most of which are similar .info type sites...

Looks like the site still needs work because all the links point to a page that has the eBay Item#.html which just displays the sites header instead of displaying the eBay Item itself.

The prices are all too odd to be real - and most of the costumes are
Brian Leitner's - and as Palitoy said, the Allen Virdon is one he put
on ebay.

Since none of the links work, it must not be a real person selling
these items.

I never was really thrilled with those type of sights when I found them doing a search. When I search for something I want to find an on line store like Doctor Mego's just as one example. If I wanted to go to eBay I would just simply go to eBay to find what I am looking for. However, I do see the point in their marketing strategy by doing this. It made me look and that was kind of the point behind them placing these type of stores in a search engine. I still am not a fan of them though. I feel like I have been baited and switched if you know what I mean. Therefore, I just quickly close out the screen and go on to the next search result.
