MIB Basa Robin at the Mego Museum

It is a good day when we have something like this to share. The first boxed BASA superhero all the way from Peru, which happens to be Robin the boy wonder, is now on display at the Mego Robin page. He's really, really pretty, so be sure to take a look.

Coolest thing I've seen in a long time, so who won this one on eBay?

The pink looks less vibrant than in the auction pics, but I do love this packaging, especially the back of the box.

To be fortunate enough to own him loose, I gotta say he's the coolest toy ever!!

Seeing him in his native box is almost too much goodness to consume.

I'm still dying to see the nature of the 6MDM box. And how exactly does Lex Luthor fit into all of this? Did he possibly get his own box?

          So many questions.

WOW!!! That is fantastic! Congrats to the owner of this, and to the museum for revealing this unknown treasure of Mego lore!

I love the logo on the front of the box! Much more distinctive than the logo Mego used for Robin (why they didn't use the old logo in the bat shape, I don't know). That packaging is also suh-weet! Now I have new Superman art to source out!

One question about the figure itself: Are the green sleeves made into the tunic, or is all the green one piece, and the red goes over it?

Super exciting stuff, thanks for sharing!

Very cool. A great addition to the Robin page and the museum. Another one for the old want list.

My loose BASA Robin came with the green as all one piece (from sleaves to bottoms).
