TV series MEGO should have jumped on

We have all heard of MEGO droping the ball on STAR WARS which get me thinking what TV shows from the mid 70s thru early 80s should and would have made great MEGO lines keep in mind i'm thinking more of the classic 8 inch figures and using shows not made buy other Toy companies in the USA so the Six million dollar man is not listed
    1. ELECTRA WOMAN and DYNA GIRL
    2. CAPTIAN SCARLET
    3. BATTLE OF THE PLANETS
    4. STAR BLAZERS
    5. THUNDARR
    6. KNIGHT RIDER
    7. KUNG-FU
    8. SCOOBY-DOO

I agree with much of this but I'm not sure Captain Scarlet was any sort of a deal in the US during the 70s. Also, Mego was belly up when Knightrider hit the airwaves or I'd bet they would.

Oh and they did grab the Thundarr license, it just never came to be sadly.

I would have liked to see Jason of Star Command figures.

Lost in Space and Land of the Lost.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I would have liked to have seen Fantastic Journey... I was such a huge fan of that show when I was 12. The show was a complete bust, of course, but I certainly see elements of it in Lost today. I would have loved to have Megos of the characters.

OPPS your right i forgot all about MEGO's abortadede attemp at THUNDARR and KNIGHT RIDER would have needed a really good KITT and sadly MEGO was not very good at making cars for the 8 inch figures but sales would have been good

They could have done all the Gerry Anderson stuff for the UK. It would have been a great precursor to Space 1999.

I love that show, eventhough it would have equated to figures of people in their street clothes, I would loved figures from it.

street clothes = Starsky & Hutch ... not too far of a stretch
