Mego Museum & Plaid Stallion Cards - An Appreciation

I just finished putting my cards into baseball card sleeves,
and was truly taken aback by what I was holding in my hands.

Over 100 beautiful cards, most with custom artwork lovingly rendered to flow together and just dripping with memories.

I was struck by what an incredible undertaking Brian and Scott accomplished with the cards.

Taking a step back and looking at the entire (so far) output of MM and PS cards as a whole, is just amazing. The time, effort and creativity that you boht put into them rivals anything Topps did for a major summer movie card set in terms of quality and cohesiveness, and exceeds them in quantity.

I'm sure you get more messages asking for cards than actually acknowledging them, but take it from me, it's a damn impressive achievement.

And all this on top of running the Museum, moderating our BS, and continuing to provide updates and discoveries.

    I thank you both.

Those megomuseum cards are out of this world, Brian and Scott take a bow. I still card believe that they are not vintage, you could almost smell the gum sticks, they are that convincing.

Congrats to you both for the cards and this wonderful environment that you have created.

The cards have sparked another connection with the past. All we need is to have the smell of bubble gum infused onto the cards.thanks for the time everyone has put into making these jems.

whole heartedly agree with your sentiments rob! the amount of time invested in the cards and making sure this place runs smoothly is just priceless. the cards are absolutely a work of art and because of them my 6 yr old son has really taken a huge interest in megos and the cards as well. he has them in baseball card sleeve pages complete with binder.

I gotta agree. The Museum and Stallions cards are truly beautiful. My collection is priceless to me. I have other cards, but they are insignificant next to the Museum & Stallions cards.

                    Thanks for everything, guys.

                      AMEN!
I just got cards from 2 members (whom I haven't yet identified) and they are awesome. I think I'm still expecting some Ape and Trek cards from somewhere and I can't wait!

These things are amazing. Thank you all for creating and supporting them. This is an awesome website.

I have to give much of the credit to Scott here, he made these things so darn eye catching. Thanks for the kind words guys, really very much appreciated. I always thought this would a little blip on our journey, not a full blown thing, I'm surprised at how naive I can be at times.

Thanks for the thoughts, Rob, it means a lot coming from you.

I'm proud of these guys, they've been a fun artistic challenge and one where I can do exactly what I feel like doing and know that they'll be appreciated. I even added them to my portfolio!
