MegoMuseum Raffle and Custom Auction- Tickets now on sale and bids accepted!

    Hey Gang,

Thanks again to everyone who sent items to both the raffle and custom figure auction. You're support is much appreciated!

Tickets for the raffle items are now on sale. The drawing will be held live at Megomeet June 5th.

You don't have to attend Megomeet to play. This is the Museum benefit auction, so everyone is welcome. If you don't attend and you win something, the item will be shipped to you, so make sure your address is on your paypal, and note your museum user id if possible!

There are paypal links on the raffle page of the meet site megomeet.com. Click the raffle link and you'll find the paypal links. You can also send money orders or buy tickets live at the meet. If you send an MO, make sure you include your name, museum user id, and address. If you want to mail an order for raffle tickets contact myself or Brian.

Here's what we've got so far! A few more items are still on the way.

Also not pictured because it doesn't exist yet is a custom figure of your choice by RandomAxe

Also not pictured is one of the MegoMeet exclusive Dr. Kromedome figures.

The custom figure auction will be held live at the meet, but again, you don't have to be present to play. Just email me your max bid, your contact info with phone number, and your user id, and we'll have someone bid for you. It's just like ebay and no one but your proxy bidder will know your max. For example, if your max is $75 and the current bid is 50, we'll bid $55 for you, and so on until you either win, or someone outbids your max. Here are the items so far, there are a few more still on the way.

Item 101 Captain America by Derek Combs

Item 102 Selina Kyle custom by Robin Bone, donated by Laurie

Item 103 African American G.I. Joe with Kung Fu Grip and Muscle Body by Dino Austin

Item 104 Kingpin by Ed Nagy

Item 105 Flash by Scott Pierce

Item 106 Doc Ock by Thomas Meuleman

Item 107 Doctor Strange by Nate Alley

Item 108 Martian Manhunter by Steve Moore

Item 109 Bucky by Brian Leitner (only Bucky, Cap is shown just for scale)

Again, thanks to everyone who sent items in support, and thanks to everyone who bids and buys tickets! Have fun!

Last year I was the raffle hog.
This year I'm only going to buy 300 instead of 350 tickets.
        NOT!
        LOL

Yep, folks stepped up and that's good. Probably people just get busy and distracted and put off sending stuff right away, and of course I start to get worried about halfway through when not much has landed. But it turned out to be a pretty good lot!

I really thought that would be the case. It kind of seems like that happened about the same way last year as well. At any rate I am glad to see that it is a good turn out once again.

If most people are like me they usually put off sending stuff right away
I think last year there may have been more customs, but there seem to be more raffle prizes this year. And more may still come

There were more customs last year, but there are still a few that have been promised that haven't landed yet, so we should be adding a few more.
