80s Action Figure Show Review

Got up early again to do the 80s action figure/Transformers Con in Toronto. It's a well run show and a lot of dealers bring vintage stuff.

Although this year, the vibe was mainly Transformers and modern era SW, there still were some neat things to be seen, what was around:

Loose complete Davey Crockett $10
MOC Spock $30
12" Spider-Man MIB $75
AFA Black Hole Reinhart (didn't ask, who would AFA a $20 figure?)
Tons and tons of Micronauts






A lot of things were just dirt cheap so this stuff added up, my son bought a good pile of SW guys for $20 and I think I spent about $75 on all of this.




Kind of a themed day, not what I was expecting to do but still well worth it.

Anybody else make it?

those were $4 each, I could not pass that deal up.

Felt pretty old at this show though, there were a lot of twenty something guys talking about characters that I did not know.

you passed on crockett for $10? carded spock for $30 is a good deal too. on another note i heard kane county sucked. so i'm glad i didn't go.

Really nice Pics. That looks like a whole lot of fun. I think I would of lost my mind in there. Those Galactica Minimates look so Cool

Yeah, it was an 80s kids paradise but there was enough to hold my interest as well

Yeah, i have a Crockett and I figured somebody else would score a good deal. almost bought that Spock but really didn't feel it today..

Yeah, if I had put an ounce of thought into it, I'd have realized it was something somebody here might have wanted but my higher brain functions don't kick in until noon on weekends..

You would've had a lot of takers with a Crockett at 10 bones. (Is that Canadian $$?)
Probably would've been a fistfight. Would've made good fodder for the meet auctions tho.
