Yeah, I know that's the Museum pic, but's the exact one that I own. His colors are deliciously bright!

Wow, that is real nice Solid box Supes. Interesting to note that it has kept all its original color and not turned purple like most Solid Box Superman's that you see.

    Congrats on owning that.

Right now, I am really digging this beautiful "La Chose" that I picked up from English Paul (thanks, Paul!). It is getting tougher and tougher to find the Pin Pin Fantastic Four in nice condition. If anyone has a nice Pin Pin Mr. Fantastic available (no Lionel sticker and non-gray head/neck please), then please please let me know.

My 17 month old son claimed this Mego Spider-Man for his own, so it's the family's Official Favorite Mego. It's actually the oldest Mego I have. I bought him in 1983 in Belen, New Mexico at a dime store. I had given my Megos away a few years earlier in a gesture to grow up and stop playing with dolls, but I justified the purchase because I was drawing a lot of comic books and wanted him as a model to pose. My mom even sewed up the costume so it was more tight fitting. He hung by a string over my drawing baord for years, eventually all the color faded from his hands due to the sunlight and the seams have started to give. But he's a good Mego and he's my son's very own "Spy-aderrr--manAH".

Thanks Sammy, It sounds like you got a great snag on eBay as one does not see the harder to find silver apes crop up much. Every now and then one can luck out as you did in your case. That is one of the cool things about the bay is that you just never know what may show up next.

I still have my original trek crew, pocket heroes Spider-Man & Hulk and regular WGSH Hulk and Green Goblin (Dr. Mego parts added in there) those are pretty much the elite part of my collection, they are my childhood.

Ha Ha Ha. I had the same thought when I first saw them in there, but If I don't keep them in there they'll be running wild

They have a few different styles. One with a Metal lid and one with a Cork Lid. They have some that have the Words bodum etched on the Glass and some that don't. A few times I just switched the Glass jar from the Cork ones
