Check out this cool ad for Megos. It's a large picture, but I made it large for better viewing. I got it from one of my comics. I wish I could remember which one now. I have more ads I need to put on my lame blog, but so far this is the best one.
That's cool! I didn't realize that HERO'S WORLD had physical locations. Apparently one of them was in the Woodbridge Mall in Woodbridge, NJ? That's awesome. I've been in that mall. Wish I knew what storefront in the mall they were in...would be cool to check it out.
"God has put definite limits on the heights of man's wisdom, but no limits to the depths of his stupidity"
That is cool. They don't make 'em like that anymore. (the toys or the ads!)
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

It was located upper level Fortunoff's wing. Coming out off Fortunoffs it was the second store on the right. It had a cool break out wall affect as the entrance. They also owned the 1st store out off Fortunoff's called Good Greif. In the mid to late eighties they shut down the Heroes world one and moved it into the Good Grief one, renaming it Heroes World.
I started working for them in 1989, it was a cool job, all fun little pay.
