Zombie John and Ponch found

Found a Zombie John and Ponch today at the monthly antique show. Have not been to this one before but was in the area so decided to stop! Only paid $5.00 each.

John has his helmet, belt gun and boots.
Ponch has his helmet and boots. He also has a busted knee.
Uniforms are dirty but usable. Some remnants of their badges and Johns name tag. Heads are sticky.

For the $$$ I couldnt pass them up. Now I can stick them in their van!

Blew them apart. Have washed the uniforms, heads and helmets. Going to attempt to degray the heads once I buy the supplies.

Just need a knee pin, belt and gun for Ponch and sunglasses for both!

Don't forget their watchs and billyclubs, Nice pickup. I like the CHIPS line and they look good when they are degreyed and broken knee pins are common on these guys the Pondh i freed from the card not only was zombied but had a broken knee pin

Whoops. Forgot those items. Now more to look for!

I was just excited to actually find some in the wild at an affordable price. Also picked up all the cards for a 1991 Dukes of Hazard card game. As I was counting the cards my wife went online and found the instructions for the game!

All this the morning after my 10th Anniversary!

even being zombie there a great deal for that having there accessories is great find some cheap heads and bam you got yourself some great chips figures

Hmmmm....

The CHiPs guys aren't too hard to find. I got a bunch to cannibalize for a Mego police force. They're surprisingly nice figures for such a silly show.

Man, those portraits are scary. It is amazing how close a self-satisfied smile and a maniacal grin are.
You might try the RIT dye for degreying the heads. PM me if you are interested in how it works.
