I was checking on the surf outfit in the AJ section.

Never mind that I don't see the swim mask that it says it comes with, (I'm not even sure there are shorts in that picture), but mine looks completely different.



Was this just a Johnnie Jackson thing?

I think Dave is working on fixing the AJ section and hopefully these problems will be all worked out. I noticed that same thing. I can vouch that it does indeed come with the scuba mask. I just bought one still on the card and removed it for display. (see pic below)
As for your set? Maybe it's a variant or different because it's a Johnnie Jackson set?

Action Jackson became Johnnie Jackson in the UK. The set definitely came with a scuba mask, so everything looks the same as in an AJ set, but I have no idea why they changed the shirt

I am working on AJ Accessory Check. It's pretty complicated really. AJ is the king of variations, and I can't possibly know every combo and how it came. For example, I have a carded fishing set that doesn't have a fishing pole, but instead has the spear gun that came with another set. It also has boots I've never seen before. They are black, but are not hero style boots, although somewhat similar. They also look too small to fit on an AJ.

There are just so many odd packaging things, my plan is to get the section up, then add stuff as people post "hey, mine's different!"

I still need some AJ heads for the project though, so if anyone wants to sell me an african american AJ, or a red headed AJ, or even a blond AJ, please let me know!

I expected that would be the case. I would say do your best with what info you have and just edit/add/change as time goes on as you did in the case where I found the attached holster and pants with no feet on my Buffalo Bill.

I have a safari set that the boots are impossible to put on over the socks. Way too tight. Barely fit on a naked foot so I swapped them with a pair that were more roomy.
I also have seen wide ranges of 'fit' on AJ outfits. Some are loose and some are so tight you are afraid they are going to rip in two if you force them on the body. I'm talking about the same article of clothing sometimes (same shirt or pants from different boxes, etc).

These boots aren't just tight. If you hold them up to a naked AJ foot, you can see that they WONT fit at all. The foot is bigger than the boot. For him to sport these, he'll have to stand tip toe in his boots.

I'll have pics of this stuff soon, and we'll add and adapt as we go.

I do have a few interesting peices I'd be willing to photo for you. Mostly boxed variations but nothing earth shattering.

I just checked and I have one of those sets too and boy are his hero boots shinny.
