Question on Action Jackson Jingle

The Action Jackson Jingle ("Action Jackson is my name. Bold adventure is my game") has stayed with me for 35, 36 years. So I was watching some old Mego commercials on YouTube and found some AJ commercials. But is my memory failing me? I was SURE I remembered a version of the jingle that says "think of what you want to be, and suddenly....." instead of the one I kept finding over there that says, "think of what you want to be, and call on me." (But then again, I DO think I mis-remembered the "call on me" lyric as saying "think of what you want to be and count on me.")

Sorry to pull up an old thread, but on reading the announcement of the release of 70s Toy Explosion Vol. 2 (70s Toy Explosion Volume 2 - Mego Talk), I had to watch my copy of Vol. 1. Well, guess what? In the Action Jackson Scramble Cycle commercial the lyrics are clearly "think of what you want to be, and suddenly....." (and that made me immediately remember this thread). So, both sets of lyrics were used. Your memory may be failing you, Richard, but not on this issue.

I agree with saildog on their being two different set of lyrics for AJ. I also have a Mego Commercial VHS tape. I bought back in 93-94 that has different versions of some the mego commerical on the 70s Toy Explosion Volume 1- Mego Talk DVD.

Just finished watching all the AJ youtube clips for the zillionth time with my son. No "suddenly" but damn, what a rockin' guitar lick!
