            Sigh.............the good `ol days....Wish I had a time machine.I would raid Toys R Us with 10 shopping carts and buy every Mego Ape toy and playset they had!........also any Hot Wheels ,Corgi and Matchbox diecast too!.LOL!

                    I think I was there too! Or at least a similar event at a differnt LI store. Mine, I believe, was at the TSS on Sunrise Highway in Sayville/Bohemia. I still have my autographed photo that my father got me, because I was too terrified to go close to him. I'll download a pic of the auto if I can figure out how to scan the damn thing
