I remember seeing it in the catalog ads back in the day but never saw one in person. I always thought it was Barbie's Townhouse modified for Batman.
My sister had Barbie's Townhouse.
Would be a cool way to display Megos but ain't no way I'd pay that much for a toy. At least not with the way things are nowadays. Might have to live in it.

What's The Story Behind This Playset?

I noticed a few people in this thread mention that they don't even remember this playset as a kid. I don't remember it either, nor does a friend of mine who pretty much got everything MEGO put out back in the day. Considering how impressive the Wayne Foundation playset is I'm really shocked that it apparently had a very limited production run.

You build cabinets for a living? I'd love to see how you've displayed your playsets and figures. Did anything special?

As a matter of fact I have huge cabinet I custom built. It's about 8' tall, 3' deep, and just over 8' foot long. Not only Megos do I collect but other toy lines as well. G.I. Joe, Transformers, Lone Ranger, Zoids, etc. I finally have some pics, but I'm having trouble getting them on here. There on my computer, but I can't figure out exactly how move them here. Stay tuned!

What, no pictures? I have no idea what one looks like (I had Batman & Robin as a kid...well, I had Robin, my big brother had batman.....but never saw this set).
