Hi - I'm new here

Hi all,

I've got a small but beloved Mego collection and I'm interested in doing some custom Megos and some small runs of original toys. I want to thank everyone for all the resources and tips you guys have posted here - you guys are awesome!

I actually belonged to a Mego email group years ago (early 90s) - but I got busy with work/life and after a couple of moves my Megos remained stored in a box for a few years. I was recently laid-off and it gave me some time to redecorate my home office, out came the boxes of Megos and I got the 'buzz' again right away.

Right now I'm an illustrator and graphic designer (you can check out some of my work at Aaron Ber HANDS-ON CAN-DO KNOW-HOW. I'm also into screenprinting, rock posters and t-shirts.

There's a lot of knowledge and creative talent on here, and I'm happy I found this place!

P.S. I'm in need of some superhero chest emblems, who makes the best ones?

welcome..we will be gentle. there's a lot of great artists on here and others who think they are so you'll enjoy the mix. good luck and hope you find a real job soon. I'm out of work currently too, but using the time to live of the government and sell on ebay..lol

I'm pretty impressed with the amount of talent on here already. The custom galleries rule! Sucks that so many people are out of work now - thanks and good luck to you too man!

Wee67 - Doom and Charlie Brown are probably my favorite comic characters. I wish I could take credit for the cartoon, but I found it on the web years ago and can't remember where I got it. Maybe someone else will know who did it - Here's the whole thing:

Te email Mego group you're talking about was probably the old Yahoo group. Many of us here were/are members there. Glad to see you made your way here! Lots of friendly and talented people here so enjoy your stay!
