        Hi Greg. Welcome!

        For the smoke smell, what condition are the uniforms in? If they still have the foil emblems, and you are planning to keep them enclosed, then I might just leave them alone. Or, you could take up smoking and not notice the figures

          It sounds like a smoker had the figures before you.The plastic and clothes absorb odors.Try putting them in a sealed box with some cat litter that contains baking soda in it. This should help
