    Madeline Abrams
    Abrams, Madeline, 89, of Ft. Lauderdale passed away February 21, 2009. Beloved wife of the late great David. Cherished mother of Martin (Carol) and Howard (Nally). Grandmother of Kenneth (Michelle), Stacy (Joel), Kevin, Karen (John) and Davis. Great-grandmother of David, Jordan and Adam. She bound the family together and she will be deeply missed by everybody. Funeral service Tuesday, February 24th 1PM at Star of David Cemtery & Funeral Chapel, 7701 Bailey Road, N. Lauderdale 954-722-9000. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice By the Sea.

    Madeline Abrams handled most of the costuming during Mego's early days.
    She had contacts in the sportswear industry which was the source for
    many of Mego's polyester fabrics.

            I'm sorry to hear this. She was more or less the mother of the Mego figure due to her talented contributions. She will be remembered by all of us.

                          I lost my own mom last year. I'm sure it's a tragedy at any age. Many thanks to a lady who brought so much to the hobby I enjoy.

                              That's very sad to hear, I think her contributions to Mego are a big reason we're all so fond of the toys.

                              I had a former foreign sales rep once relay to me what the Abrams office was like in Hong Kong. He said David and Maddy had their desks together and they would banter back and forth all day. They were obviously in love and happy to be doing what they were doing.
