He never got an eight inch figure but Patriarch of the Duke Clan, Uncle Jesse did sneak into the 3 3/4" Dukes series. The Dukes were popular enough to warrant a second wave.

Looks like he should belong to the Fisher Price "Adventure People" series. A series I loved as a kid I might add.

I'm always surprised Mego not only did these two, but actually put some thought and effort into their design, instead of kitbashing them together like they did with the Duke boys and Roscoe (and Cletus). Too bad they didnt redo these guys for the second wave.

I was just too old for this line, not too old for toys which I occasionally still bought but too old for toys based on this series. I remember when the eight inch figures came out I was staring at them in a Kresge's thinking about the Apes, Trek and WGSH.

Great overall's.......Scary eyebrow's !!!! The original....not HOBUB'S.....hobubs eye brow's are fine and not too scary !

Really don't care for anything in any of the 3 3/4" lines.
If they made an 8 inch Uncle Jesse I'd be looking for one.
