very very cool. I'm curious what the vendors charge per figure (roughly).

Hello again, great to know you enjoyed the pics! It would be nice to have a convention here in Mexico City, no? I would try to bring all the sellers I know to it...and Hector, be sure that I will take you (and everybody else) to eat the greatest tacos you might taste!!Bryan: You really made me lauhg very much!! My house will be ever open for you
Random Axe: Currency exchange rate is aprox 14.50 mexican pesos for 1 dollar.
To give you an example of things that can be found (not so often but possible), I bought a naked mego speedy for about $2 dlls. Of course that there are crazy sellers, but in Mexico the bargaining is something common, in fact the sellers expect it (we call it "regateo").
Rodolfo (owner of what you see in pics 1 and 2) is a very good friend of mine, honest guy and not expensive prices, he has sold me great stuff since many years, as I commented before he sells at ebay (user name "silvestre1962") but I'm sure he will be very happy to do deals directly, he have tons of figures, not only megos, great stuff even for making customs. For those interested in contact him here is his email:

He already knows that some of you will contact him, tell him that you are MM members.
Cheers! Luis FelipeComment

I lived in Jalisco (Guadalajara, Cd Guzman, and Sayula) from 1970-1977.
My father bought me some Lili Ledys at Plaza del Sol (I forgot the name of the store)...ah...the memories of living in Mexico (I was born in California though)...it was awesome.
Nice to meet you, Luis.

Who wants to plan a roadtrip to Mexico City?(I don't even want to think about how long a drive it would be from Canada)

It still blows my mind that you were playing with Ledys as a kid, while most of us were completely unaware that they existed until well into the 1990's.
