It's not a bad little playset with the loft, furniture and snowmobile. Although from that pic it looks more like a barn.

A-framed houses were all the rage in some areas including mine.

I rememeber riding to school on the bus and seeing a few being build along the way thinking -- those houses are soooo cool.

Did this playset fold out into a bigger building? ...or is what you see is what you get? I seem to recall seeing a bigger Dinah Mite ski chalet, but I could be confusing it with another playset from the time? I do remember my cousin had a "ski chalet" for one of her dolls (Dusty?/Sandi?) that was made out of plastic and was pretty detailed. It had at least two floors with one of those seventies upside down funnel style fireplaces and a bright orange chair. I remember wishing I had it for a Apes treehouse.

The roof opens up so you can play inside as far as I can tell from pics I've seen on ebay.

I've been tempted to grab it a couple times as well but it then I think about it and try to figure out what I would display it with. I have no Dinahs and it's pretty girly looking so I usually pass.

I've got an empty one of these kicking around someplace. What furniture was with it? I have the loft piece, but nothing else. I like that snowmobile. Aside from the Dinahmite's Place sign, it doesn't seem very girly to me. We had cabins and Aframes like that by the ski places I visited when I was younger. Just looks like one of those to me.

If I ever get one,I'm having AJ move in. Maybe use it as a hunting lodge or something similar.
