Probably one of my top 4 favorite playsets. What kid doesn't love a playset with a jail and net trap.

Damn- I love this one, too. So cool, so displayable AND playable. Gotta get one someday.

...and I agree Brian, the kids just don't like the nuclear toys anymore. Love the Mexican army popping in there, too.

I saw this playset as a kid in 1978 and I just fell in love. The one in the picture has been my collection over 20 years, it is my favourite apes playset.

The Apes were kind of stupid for designing it like it is ....

It's slender nature makes it easy to display in a bookcase, it's the smallest ape playset if you don't count things like the throne.

Cool piece. This is one of the first playsets I acquired as a collector. I paid $20 for it MIB and still have it. Of course that was 20 years ago.

I had to go up to $76 to get mine. Funny thing is I offered the seller $150, but she decided to put it on eBay instead. She was pretty cool about it when I won it, though.

I did not know about this when I was a kid and was blown away when I got it. I immediately thought about the tons of scenarios I would have concocted around this awesome set.
