My name is Dennis and I’m kinda new to Mego Geekdom. I had all the usual Mego WGSH suspects, Aquaman, Spiderman, Superman, etc., until tragedy struck. First, I store all their accessories in a shoe box and my Mom pitches it into the garbage without me knowing it; then on vacation at the Jersey shore I decide to bury my Mego’s in the sand. I never did find them. True story! Why I decided to bury them all, and so deep, and not leave some kind of marker, is beyond me. And that was that. Star Wars blasted off and I was off to a galaxy far, far away. I never did get over them all these years later. Sometimes I like to think that they are still buried there somewhere. So I’m here to “dig them up.”

Welcome Dennis, hope ya find a lot of interesting stuff to read and see here in the forums and in the galleries. I remember taking my Megos to the beach too, but luckily never lost any. I did lose or misplace many in other places over the years though. I only have a few of my childhood ones left, but I really treasure them.

Hey Nutt, Moms all over the world are guilty of this particular crime.
I love my mom, of course, but a small part of me cannot forget all the precious Star Wars, and Megos, and Legos, and Big Jims, and Gre-gory, and Shoguns, and Junk Eating Sharks, and 6Million Dollar Men, and Yugo, and whatever else to where ever she took them, and gave them away. I only hope someone worthy ended up with them, and they are still in a collection someplace..
