Ok...So now that I'm a kid I can't really be spending tons of money for a carded figure. How many people do have carded apes? How much are they?

I love carded figures and POTA are my favorite. Like others have said, they tend to start around $100 and can go into the $200-$300 range. Condition of the card is always a factor. You can always try to save $10 per week and you may be able to have 2-3 (or more) by this time next year. Once you set a goal for yourself you will be surprised what you can achieve.Comment

I find that if you are patient and watch ebay regularly, you inevitably can get some carded figures for less than a 100....if you don't mind the cards being somewhat beat up. I got Zira, Burk and Verdon all for around 40-50 in the past few years.
otherwise do as DMO says and save a little each week. We are all in a budget of some sort for our collecting.
Good luck!Comment

Yup. I concur with Nostalgiabuff. Here's a couple of bargins some smart shoppers snagged for around $75 each:

I got a lot of my carded Apes in the 80's/90's when their secondary market price was less than it it now.
Do you want Ape figures on cards that you intend to keep sealed on the card or do you just want to have a good card to see all the artwork and design and open up and take out the figure?Comment
