    The Savage Leela

Today's update in the Mego Doctor Who Gallery is Leela, the sultry savage companion for the fourth Doctor.

More Who-mania all week at the Megomuseum.

Again the outfit is spot on, Mego really paid a lot of attention to detail with this line

I said it in a previous thread, but again - Love the box art. It really matches the show and the time in which it was made.
      It's all good!

I thought Leela rocked when I was a kid. Didn't know there was a Leela action figure way back then or I probably would have wanted one.

          Another great figure !!!

It's a shame they're so tough to find today and only a few people can own them.

Another figure on my want list. But they are just so expensive.

Was Tom Baker the only Who figure released under the Harbert name ?

If so, I think that's why he's so common -- compared to all others.

The artwork on the Doctor Who line is very unique.

The art almost reminds me of velvet paintings

The Doctor was released in Italy and in Australia as well as the DF UK version. I believe all the others were Denys Fisher only. A tough crew to assemble. Especially the robots.

Mega-DITTOs (Sorry, Limbaugh fans..). Just ADORE the box art. Very eye-catching and fit the show's approach very well.

As for the figure itself, she was alright. Like hunting the Denys Cyberman, I'd prefer a nice custom Leela like the one made from the MaryEllen figure.

                          THAT was a perfect likeness...
