    Celebrating Mego's Time Lord

That's right, all this week we'll be taking a revised look at the Mego/Denys Fisher produced toyline based on the long running UK series "Doctor Who".

No better place than the Doctor himself, his gallery has been updated with new images and information.

Check it out here and be sure to check back every day for a new addition to the Museum's Doctor Who Galleries.

    Fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, I have to admit ... i'm a little let down.
Reading the title quickly, I thought it was going to be the premier of Dr Who Museum cards.

Getting back to the subject ........

    GREAT LINE !!!

One of my all time favs.

First time I ever heard of the figures was seeing a loose Baker at a Dr Who convention in Allentown PA in 1984-ish.
The guy had it marked at $95.00 --- and I admit, I was tempted (not knowing anything about them)

I think I did not ever see these until the advent of ebay. I would have loved to have them as a kid. Baker was, and is, my favorite Doctor.

I just looked at the scarcity index page and saw the Giant Robot and Leela sitting next to the number 6.

              Whut?

Methinks the museum needs a little updating there as well. The Flash Gordon series is listed as a 6. You can find those on a weekly basis. The Tardis is listed as a 7. There are probably 5 of them on ebay right now (yep, just checked and they are all boxed no less). Much harder to find a complete Leela and a GR with his shoulderpads??? That is tricky. And what of little K9? He isn't even mentioned scarce wise.

I am happy to see the Doctor and company get some needed attention here tho. Thanks for the update in the Gals. Awesome line.

The costume was indeed spot on.

Little error in the galleries tho:
Mego didn't miss a detail of the Doctor's costume from his hat to trademark hat and sonic screwdriver.
Shouldn't that be his trademark scarf?

No, I felt his hat so important that I mentioned it twice. Did I mention my kids play in my current office?

One of my favorite Megos even though I have never seen one episode of Dr. Who. I'd love to get the others in the line someday.

You can check my gallery for my customized Tom Baker, but I really love the box art.

Very retro and cool looking..! Wish he had a more accurate head sculpt, but he's still a keeper!
