    I checked on this awhile back. Regular home owners insurance and renters insurance WILL NOT cover your collectables. Even if you have photos of your stuff. You HAVE to take out a special insurance for that. It's really cheaper than you think. When you take photos of you collection, it would be best to have a notory(sp?) public to verify them. Then put the photos on a CD and place in a safe deposit box at your local bank. Update the CD every 4-6 months for the rest of your life. Also include updated paper work detailing the value of your collection. Without the special insurance, photos with paper work, well you will be SOL when disaster strikes.

      yea that sucks, i can take pics of my stuff and i should cause its all spread out every where.

        Awesome bob Thanks. I was going to ask if anyone on here had really looked into it. Like you said SOL and let me tell you, i thought i was ready to be here and honestly i don't know, it is really hard seeing everyones collection.
