No, he's here in Southern California by me. He does a lot of buisness all over. Trust me, Rebel Toy is a friend to have in the world of Mego.

It's cool you had good luck with Rebel Toy, but I always found them to be overpriced and they're not exactly easy to deal with if an order gets messed up... I think newbie "Galen" would be better off trying MARKETPLACE on here, or eBay...Comment

You need to talk to Doc Mego at Dr. Mego's Repros. Doc has reproduction Mego bodies made in china and is the source for that kind of stuff. He's also one of the folks responsible for creating the EMCE POTA reproduction figures and has created several reproduction POTA parts to complete your figures if you need them.
If it's original bodies you seek, either post in Marketplace here at the forums, or go to ebay and look for lots of beat up megos, then strip them down for the bodies. That's always been the best and least expensive way I've found to gather original bodies.Comment

I am sure that eventually Doc Mego will be able to sell Ape style bodies (just as he sells the trek boot body). The only thing I can offer is repro and custom packaging for Mego POTA figures.
I'm not sure if you are aware that for original Mego, you will be finding 2 body styles for Ape figures (Type 1 and Type 2). You are most likely to find Solider Ape, Cornelius, Zaius and Astronaut on Type 1 bodies (with the hinge jointed hands). Sometimes you will find a type 1 body that is loose or floppy. This is something that is easily corrected by restringing the elastic (instructions are here at the museum) but could save you money in the initial purchase.Comment
