I just wanted to take a second to say hello and introduce myself. I have been coming here for years but just recently had a member ask if i was a member. I had never thought about it but i gave it a shot. I didn't realize how many mego fans there are out there. No wonder i keep getting outbid on that Thing figure.
I am just getting started again with my Mego's as i lost all my collectibles in a fire. I will actually post on that another time. So i look forward to getting to know some of you and lets see what is for sale today.

Hey Mark - Sorry to hear about the fire. It looks like we're in the same boat (as far as starting over collecting Megos that is). I just joined this weekend. I had to start over due to younger siblings - they sure could do a number on a brothers Mego. Your definetely right about Ebay - it's pretty hard to win auctions - there's a lot of snipers and Mego fans out there.
I actually got the bug after watching Conan recently. I thought it would be cool to get a Conan Mego. It was always one of the Megos I never had as a kid. I snagged one on ebay (you can win sometimes) and found some repro parts at Dr. Mego's site (as well as some EMCE Apes). Before I knew it I snagged a Cpt. America in the Mego Marketplace, and some EMCE Trekkies from FAO Shwartz.com. In case anyone needs any, they have the Kirk/Klingon, Scotty/Keeper and Bones/Romulan sets for only $20 a piece (plus S/H). It's cool to start a collection again and not spend a ton of money. Sorry for the long post.
