Do you dream of Megos?

No really...do Megos show up in your dreams at night? Last night, I was dreaming of playing w/ toys w/ someone, probably a kid, though I couldn't tell you who, and I remember Batman having a small slit in his oven mitt when we were putting them back in the box. (But my Bats has molded plastic gloves!)

I know, this sounds weird, but I can't be the only one, can I?

I've had dreams where I'm a kid again or I'm playing with my kids but usually the items in my dreams are not specific or I don't necessarily remember them when I wake. With my luck, if I had a Mego dream it would be something frustrating like having to hem a sleeve and the thread keeps on getting tangled. lol

I have had very vivid dreams about megos since I was a child.

When I was a boy, I dreamed that a huge box was delivered to
my house and it was packed full of boxed Megos. I remember the
colors and seeing the logos on the bottom of some of the boxes.

Shortly after I started working on reproducing parts, I dreamed of
walking into a comic shop and seeing a cardboard box of Thor
hammers labeled $1 each. I bought a fistful of them.

Yup I've have had several...one recurring with random and trivial differences. It involves wandering into a 1970's toy department as the adult I am now. The "smell" of the toys in the store is always identical to what it was when I was a kid. I always wake up as I'm pushing the cart to the checkout line. I have it maybe once a year or so...usually when I have been doing something Mego-related the day before.

I keep having one of me finding megos in a small store the mom and pop kind. I find the megos but only have enough cash for a couple I pick out batgirl ... but then she's missing stuff so I go for another one and it's not a real mego ... then I find a nice mint aquaman or superman only to find out it's not real ... so I go back and keep going though all the megos and soon I find one buy it ... get home with it only to see it wasn't a real mego either ... then I wake up lol lol ... Must be something to do with my dislike of repro parts ???? lol

I have never had a Mego dream, but I've had lots of Planet of the Apes dreams!!

I do. I think I've told this story before, but here goes.

I dreamed I was doing some work for someone at their home and while moving some furniture I discovered a bunch of loose Megos under a bed. I was amazed at the great condition they were in, although not complete, and the homeowner told me they were his from childhood and that he never got around to getting rid of them. Then I mention the Mego Museum or Megos in general (I don't quite remember) and he says, "You can have them."

So after working, I ride home with a box of Megos, pulling out Tarzan, Batman, and many others, a very happy man. Then I woke up and got mad.

I still dream of Megos sometimes, but then, I go to sleep thinking of Megos as well.
