Captain America with red hands?

My Cap has red hands.
Is this normal?

I've had him for over 20 years, and only now compared him to the gallery photos.
He could be a custom job, of course....

I'm no expert but anything's possible. More likely someone realized Cap had no gloves and popped his head on a Spiderman body.
Personally I think it looks better and I'm going to get some red gloves for mine.

Is it just the hands? I only ask in case it might be a Cap head on a Human Torch body.

I have never seen a cap come with red hands. I keep mine on a Spidey body though, for the red hands. It's a simple thing that Mego should have thought of.

Sounds like someone put him on a Human Torch or Spidey body. I find lots of megos on mismatched bodies at flea markets. It happens over the last thirty years. Dolls break, things get lost. Switch-a-roo. Very common!

I'm sure it's a switch--one that I did myself as soon as I began re-collecting Megos.

Mego should've given Cap a better costume & head deco, not to mention red hands. I understand cutting some corners to offset the cost of the shield, but mostly it seems lazy.
