I'd be getting that Lost Continent and the Jungle House. What a score at less than $20.

I had no idea they had anything like the Shaker Maker until I saw this ad. They either didn't sell well where I lived or I was living under a rock with my megos during the 70's.

After you make the figure, just break off the head and stick in a spring. Instant Head Wobbler.

Besides AJ, Lainie was the only other Mego I had as a kid. I got her for Xmas when I was 7, and I played w/ her til the motor died. I found one in the box at a toy show, but her leg is off (split at the leg plug) and her motor doesn't work. Since she can't stand up, I can't display her, so she just stays in the box.

I can't believe the price for the Jungle House and the Continent. They would be $25-30 today easy.

I always wanted that Batman Shaker Maker. I DID have that Ideal Rebound Game. One of my favorites.

I had Rebound. that was a fun game. I saw it new a few years back and wanted to buy it for my kids but they cheaped out (let's save packaging!) and cut the board in half so it would take up less room, thereby creating a joint on both sides of the track. Whether this affected the play at all, I don't know (I suspect it could) but I couldn't bring myself to buy this 'economized' version.

Some sweet looking stuff. Seeing the Snoopy radio makes me wish I still had mine.

Thanks Cat! I know I don't have the same memories that most MMers have about their Megos, but Lainie will always have special memories for me.
