    This March 1973 ad is one of the earliest known pieces of advertising for the Mego World's Greatest Superheroes line, by December of this year, they are everywhere!

    Wow, the original 4. You just know these were solid boxes. Gotta love the price. Also another store I never went to or heard of.

      $1.39, ouch that's killing me. Another reason to finish up that time machine concept I have been working on.

            That is so cool. And what a bargain. I'll take a few...100...cases.

            I love seeing all these old Ads. So often are they from stores I have never heard of, or just didn't have in my area, which still fascinates me for some apparent 70's freak toy nerd reason.

              I can Barely make out Aquaman. I never heard of this store before either, but what a bargain. It's making me drool. I wish I knew then what I know now

                    Back in 73 i never saw any ads my mom took me to JM FEILDS it was around may -june 73 because i had birthday money to spend as i walked thru the toy asile i saw it a solid boxed BATMAN and it was love at first site

                        Ads like that are probably why most kids I knew in Harlem NYC had at least 1 or 2 Megos. In my neck of the woods they were more affordable than GIJoe.
