    Wondercon thoughts...

So, now that I'm back in the fold, I notice:

Dr. Mego has started a whole toy company!!! (way to go!)
Scott Adams started a playset business
Joe DeRouen's store is going strong
    Mego73 is selling repro boxes
    Ben Holcomb wrote a book

And it got me to thinking...A Wondercon booth costs about $1000. I am not sure how many people get passes to the convention per booth (I would think between 2-4), but is there any interest in splitting a booth at Wondercon and making the best Mego booth at a comic book convention ever??

I have nothing to offer selling wise, but can take care of all coordination and organization and help run the booth.

    Thoughts?

a grand for a booth, wow. When I did toys shows in the Midwest tables were $60-$100.

Yeah. It's expensive. But it's way more than just a toy show. Wondercon is a smaller Comic-con, run by the same people. Lots of celebrity panels (last year I saw Jon Favreau, Chris Carter, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson to name a few), and hundreds of thousands of people come over the weekend. The booths are packed all day every day.

the wondercon is basically like the san diego comic con except a little smaller. it's gotten very popular over the years and is a 4 day show.

$12 a table at Megomeet and we have such celebrities as Brian Heiler, Steve Moore and Paul Riggs. Handful after handful of people come through. Trump that!

Damn!! I'm not a celebrity. Guess I need a drug rehab stint for some more media exposure before next year. Have to add crack addiction to my Christmas list so I can kick it before June.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

Sorry you can't = Paul added a new pin in the shoulder so you can only separate. (a little PVC glue, a stiff drink and you'll be fine).
                      Wait, what?
