FYI - all that extra stuff shown (aside from the Apes on the Lot) is on the Bluray releases.
Personally, I think Marty comes off as the Gene Simmons of Mego.

the other segment "evolution of the apes" was fantastic! What an amazing weekend! My wife kept saying, "but you just watched that!! what's wrong with you?"
My reply, "It's just so darned Ape-in Good!!!"

Did they show stills of the Mego toys?

Those were mine from the release of the original DVD.
Fox sent a crew to my apartment to shoot the toys back in July of '03.
